Camera Shots and Angles, used in Slaughter Sisters

We have used a range of camera shots and camera angles throughout our productiom, to relate our film to other media products already didtributed. Below is a series of shots from our production with a brief description on why we used this type of shot.

This is a low angle shot looking up at the cellar door, to stress that the setting of this production is in a cellar.

This is a low angle, long shot of the character the 'Masked Man', this shot portrays the character as a dominant figure as he is being looked up on by the audience and shows he has a higher/ more powerful status.

This is a medium long shot of the 'Masked Man', this shot shows the figure of the character.

This is a medium long shot of the 'Masked Man' this is used to show some detaiil but not as much as that used in a close up shot.

Close up in the knife, shows detail of this weapon and shows that this is an important prop used in the production.

This is an establishing shot of the two innocnet vistims, this shows to the audience that they are tied up, there against their own free will and sets the scence of the film.

This is a close up on the character Abby, and expresses to the audience the fear the two charcters feel as a result of the 'Masked Man's actions.

This shot is a medium close up, shwoing the upper half of the two characters body and shows the two girl characters in fear.

This is a low angle, medium shot of the 'Masked man' this shot creates suspense, as he has a weapon in his hand and shows the character as a dominant figure due to the camera looking up at him.

Along with this being an establishing shot of the cellar and the 'Masked Man' entering the cellar room, this shot also is that of a long shot showing the audience the characters figure and the knife clenched in the characters hand.
